Why launch the ONIX?
The full-size single pram is essential for many families preparing for their first child or managing multiple children with a larger age gap. Amidst numerous options, we aimed to bring meaningful innovation with the ONIX, focusing on comfort and ease for modern parenting needs. Every feature is meticulously crafted to meet requirements, reflecting our dedication to enhancing the parenting journey.
Tell us about the material choices and detailing on the ONIX
Each product interaction introduces tactile and visual elements to enhance the experience and exceed expectations. From metal logos to soft peachskin linings, every detail is chosen for perfection.
Functionality, like mesh panel placement, not only enhances the visual appeal but also optimises airflow, promoting a comfortable environment.
With every range, we introduce new colours that make the pram stand out. The Graphite is the hero colour of the ONIX, and we have included the top selling colours from our other product ranges including Platinum Black Twill, Taupe and more.
Being an Australian brand, how have you considered climate and lifestyle?
As a parent of two, and having personally experienced Australiaās diverse climateā from icy cold to sweltering heat ā I understand the importance of ensuring your childās comfort in every season.
The solution? We've designed large mesh panels in the canopy and seat back that provide excellent breathability during warmer weather and can be easily covered to keep your child cosy when itās cooler.

What are some of your 'can't live without' features?
First up is the unique and market-leading fold. The ONIX folds with one hand in one second; and to top it off, it has a carry handle, so you donāt need to bend down. You can also recline the seat, adjust the telescopic handle height, and the footrest with one hand.
Next it is about having all the ābasicsā but designed in a considered way: A large 10kg basket that is easy to access while holding everything in. All-terrain wheels with four-wheel suspension to take you wherever you need to go and wrapped up in a beautiful design that makes you feel stylish.
What do you look for in a shoot location?
Weāre a proudly Australian brand and always strive to embrace elements of our Australian roots in our photography. We chose to shoot at the National Herbarium of New South Wales in Mount Annan, with its long-stretching stone architecture surrounded by Australian bushland and flora. Core to the ONIX Pram is that it is āfor every adventureā. The location offered ample opportunity to showcase the pramās functionality and suitability to various terrains (grass, gravel, smooth surfaces) in a contemporary and striking backdrop.
Which is your favourite colour in the new ONIX range?
This is easy: the Graphite! I think this will be a popular choice for parents seeking a darker colour, but not black. The ONIX also comes in Platinum Black, ideal for those wanting an all-black finish. I'm excited to see the response to Taupe, which is a favourite in our AERON range, and aligns with our understated aesthetic.
