The Redsbaby B-pod by Britax Capsule is the most superior fit on all Redsbaby prams and the easiest capsule to secure & remove. The Redsbaby B-pod is a safe, versatile and compact capsule designed to integrate seamlessly with any Redsbaby pram, and is suitable from birth to 12 months, accommodating even low birth weight* infants.

The Redsbaby b-pod by Britax Capsule can be used with all Redsbaby prams including AERON, NUVO*, ONIX, JIVE⁵, and METRO⁵. The Redsbaby b-pod requires capsule adaptors that use the Maxi Cosi connection point, which can be purchased separately or together with the capsule. The SKIP² Stroller is not capsule compatible.

*When used with the NUVO Pram in double mode, the Redsbaby b-pod Capsule must be positioned in the upper position parent-facing with the lower seat parent-facing only.

A capsule is a car seat for infants and suitable from newborn up to 12 months. It is usually smaller than a car seat and is rearward-facing.
The main benefit of a capsule is the ability to remove it from the car (car seats cannot be removed) and place it into your Redsbaby pram. This is convenient if your baby is sleeping and you need to take them out of the car, allowing you to transport your baby undisturbed between the car and pram. It is also helpful if you need to take your baby out of the car quickly for a short trip. As per safe sleep guidelines, we do not recommend leaving your child in the capsule for longer than 2 hours at a time.

No. The Redsbaby b-pod by Britax Capsule uses a different connection point than the Britax Unity NEOS, and the adaptors are different. We offer Britax Unity NEOS Adaptors for our NUVO, JIVE⁵, and METRO⁵ Prams.

No. We don't recommend using a capsule to replace the Redsbaby bassinet in alignment with safety guidelines for capsule use.

The Redsbaby bassinet allows your baby to lie in a lie-flat position during the crucial stage when their spine is still developing. It also helps ensure that your baby's neck doesn't flex forward, blocking their airway, which can occur when using a capsule for long periods. While leaving your sleeping baby in a capsule may be more convenient, we do not recommend leaving your child in the capsule for longer than 2 hours at a time, as per safe sleep guidelines.

The Redsbaby b-pod Capsule is suitable from birth up to 12 months of age (approximately). The latest Australian standard for child restraints (AS/NZS 1754:2013) is based on a child’s age, and no longer tests weight as a rule. When your child's shoulders reach the shoulder height marker of their capsule, they need to change to the next suitable restraint.

ClickTight is a unique patented design that uses a cleverly designed tensioning system and locking mechanism to tension & lock the seat belt at the same time.

The ClickTight design allows you to install your Redsbaby b-pod Capsule with confidence every time. Simply open the ClickTight handle, thread the seatbelt through the path, buckle and click it closed for a secure fit. With added visual ClickTight indicators, the ClickTight system allows you to achieve a safe install without all the effort.

The process of removing your baby and the motion of your vehicle can loosen the capsule over time. You may also need to remove & reinstall your capsule for additional child seats. It is very important that you check the fit of your capsule often and reinstall your capsule periodically. The ClickTight system ensures you can install with confidence every time, providing peace of mind when installing the capsule yourself.
